How do you solve a problem like Milton Keynes?
Talks and Discussions
Friday 27 September
6.30–7.30pm
FREE
Suitable for all agesGood vibes only please.
An open-mic PechaKucha* to provide Milton Keynes’ failings with ideas, aspirations and possible futures. This event aims to generate ideas for positive change built on the existing successes of the town whilst also addressing it’s issues.
The event will be chaired & hosted by Daniel Chehade of Studio Chehade, a multi-disciplinary graphic design studio based in Milton Keynes. The event has been inspired by chance encounters with strangers in Milton Keynes where short bursts of ideas and discussion are usually left to litter the boulevards.
Open to all ages, abilities, experience and tourists. Turn up on the day and bring your ideas! Cash prizes for the best ideas, voted by the audience.
* PechaKucha, inspired by a desire to talk less, show more. Individuals gather at a venue to share their personal presentations for 6 minutes and 40 seconds (20 slides / 20 secs per slide). The aim is to get to the point and exchange ideas.
