The New Town Heritage Explorers project wants to explore and document the social history of MK – the stories of the people who live here, the impact of the buildings on daily life, what is it really like to live in a city built from scratch? We want to capture your views on its buildings, parks and even its roundabouts.
We are hosting a workshop in the Pavilion at the Festival of Creative Urban Living on Monday 30th September from 4pm onwards.
This is your opportunity to come along and hear about
• the Hew Town Explorers Project and the innovate creative programme of events to animate MK heritage
• the history and heritage of Milton Keynes as a new Town
• to record the unique design and heritage of Milton Keynes by mapping an area for the heritage toolkit
• to record your New Town heritage story
